If you are planning to experience surfing for the very first time or wanting to develop your skills, this is the perfect lesson for 

Can you imagine yourself riding a wave on the beautiful Coffs Coast? Our popular Holiday surfing lessons will get 1st timers safely up and onto their first wave before they have time to worry about falling off. For more experienced or holiday surfers we can take your surfing to new levels of confidence. Designed for anyone who wants to give surfing a try or to develop new skills we promise to give you an authentic taste of surfing, useful safety information about waves and the beach, and a smile that you won’t be able to wipe off for hours!

1 Lesson $30 per person

3 Lesson Package $80 per person

Only available during School Holidays.

When booking a 3  Lesson Package please make sure lessons are running on your preffered days by checking the booking clandar!!

Outside School Holidays or on any day your preferred location isn't available try our Coffs Coast Surfing Experience available all year round!! A premium surf lesson at an affordable price

Choose from any one of the following 4 local beaches: Woolgoolga Beach; Emerald Beach; Sawtell Beach; or Darlington Beach (Arrawarra). You can book as many sessions as you like, but make it quick as they fill up FAST!

Things To Bring

You don’t really need to bring much to your surf lesson, but try to remember the following items:

  • Swimwear
  • Towel
  • Sunscreen
  • Drinking water
  • Your booking voucher (printed or on your phone)
  • A HUGE smile!!....

Inclusions

We will provide you with the following when you arrive for your lesson (if required):

  • Surfboard
  • Wetsuit ( full-length if needed)

Cancellation Policy

At Solitary Islands Surf School, we run surf lessons in all weather and surf conditions, rain hail or shine, providing it is safe to do so. If the surf is too big, or completely flat, or if the conditions are unsafe due to high winds or lightning, then we will reschedule your lesson. If we change the time and you are unable to come to the new lesson, then we will provide a credit toward another lesson at a later date. If that is unsatisfactory we may issue a refund at our discretion.
If you would like to reschedule a lesson you have booked, we need at least 24 HOURS NOTICE. Failure to give the necessary notice will mean you forfeit the cost of that lesson. Under these circumstances there are no refunds, partial or otherwise.
